Decided last night –
Caribbean for Christmas.

I love the too big
coffee table that takes up
most of this small room.

thinking of lepers losing

and 1408 like kids
dreaming of Christmas.
Bad reaction
All day my eyes itched
as if they were allergic
to viewing my life.
Laundry basket
Socks multiply when
mated yet produce offspring
that never quite match.
Domestic landscapes
Dishwasher rumbles
like a distant storm. Water
churns, carries debris.
Unnecessary
The espresso cups,
sleekly designed, just one more
thing to put away.
The day after
Busyness is best
to occupy, medicate
you. Endings are hard.
