Friendship

Despite my darkest
moods you reach out, take my hand,
and lead me toward hope.

Sufficient

an absent child’s return, a
dog’s rapt love, a kiss.

Mortality

Friendship during hard times

carton I fall but don’t crack,
cushioned by your strength.
