Ideas on the fly,
dictate to iPhone. Moleskine,
we hardly knew ye.
Finding new homes through
Amazon. Not selling. I’m
aiding adoptions.
So light, delicate.
But under its weight trees crack.
Roofs collapse. Hearts fail.
Eyelids flutter, close.
Sounds recede. Meeting drags on.
My snore wakes me up.
Do what you’re called to
do. Though it may result in
failure, no regrets.
Don’t sell yourself short.
Those who can’t see your worth chew
your soul to pieces.
Snowfall as music —
light flakes grace notes, blizzard chords
pounded in fury.
Off-list again, I
buy extras, blow the budget,
shop when I’m hungry.
