haiku envy

greatness revealed in
the sound of splinters, words that
pierce my jealous eyes.

  1. Typo in left column – I know you’d want to know. That is, “haikus” is not a word. Some of your readers may accidently pick it up, so you may want to remind them that haiku, like deer, is singluar or plural as needed.

  2. Wow! I never thought I’d see my site name mentioned in a haiku. Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked what you found there. I dropped by to tell you that I’d added you to my links list so I can keep track of you.

I think haiku comes in many forms – from the traditional (Basho etc) to the modernist (Kerouac etc) and we all sit on the spectrum somewhere. Youre in a slightly different place than me, but we can appreciate and envy each other!
