About

In every other aspect of my life, the more words the better.

That seems to hold true in my writing, in my communication, and in my conversation with family and friends.

But here, I have established a daily practice of brevity as exemplified by the art of haiku.

In many ways, it’s my diary in seventeen syllables – no more, no less.

In all things moderation. In this case, language most of all.

This blog was launched the same week Gimble accepted a job writing content for one of the top 15 most-visited sites on the internet. Consequently, output suffered over the years. Now that Gimble has quit all work to focus on this blog, full effort is being exerted to meet the implied promise of the title. However, life is unpredictable. Therefore, readers should not hold Gimble accountable for lapses in content production. Gimble’s typical output is 3-7 haikus per day every third day. Less when Gimble is cranky. More when Gimble struggles with sleeplessness, which is a great deal of the time. Your patience and support are appreciated.

As a real person, Gimble welcomes feedback and can be reached here.

  1. Hi!

Good site with good content. I liked so much. I have created recently a blog about haikus and music inspired by them and composed by me. It´s in spanish language but the idea is so evocative and the music is the most important theme of the blog that I´m sure can be interesting for your readers. Would you like to exchange links with http://musicayhaikus.blogspot.com/ ?
    Thank you.
